Meet Nafisat Abdullahi

Our work is indeed tough, but we always try our best to take care of our patients with the help of God. I wake up at 4 am every day, thinking about what to cook for my children and who will look after them before I go to work. We often have to work extra hours because we have a lot of patients at our facility. This means we don't finish until around 4 or 5 pm every day. The work is really hard, and even though my older children help with chores at home, there are things I have to do myself. I don't like to finish my day until all our patients are satisfied.
We use solar power in our facility to support the regular electricity supply, which serves as a supplementary energy source alongside the national grid. This enables us to maintain the optimal conditions for storing our vaccines in the refrigerator, ensuring their safety and efficacy. The communities we serve are happy with the care we provide.
We're asking the government for some help, especially in getting more people to work with us and providing more solar power. This would make our jobs easier and allow us to take even better care of our patients and communities.
